This is what it's like to stand only a few hundred yards away from fissure 8 inside Leilani Estates. The cinder cone surrounding the fissure is roughly 180 feet high.
My Friend Maria alerted me that the plane that crashed in the Hudson was being towed down Route 46 towards Teterboro airport I quickly grabbed my Canon 5d Mark II and drove down to the corner and managed to just catch the plane passing us. Thanks Maria :)
